Crispy Garlic Oven Roasted Potatoes
A Simple Side Dish
As we know, Ina Garten is the queen of the kitchen and effortless cooking. The base of this easy recipe is hers, with a few added steps that take these crispy, garlic potatoes to the next level. They're simple, delicious and sure to please.
INGREDIENTS
8-10 Yukon Golden Potatoes
1/4 cup olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (I just use regular pepper)
2 tablespoons minced garlic (about 6 cloves) or Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley (I've also used dried parsley)
parmesan cheese (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F
Cut the potatoes into quarters or halves, depending on the size. Place in a bowl and add olive oil, salt, pepper, minced garlic or garlic powder and onion powder. If you're using dried parsley, I add it into the mixture as well. Toss until the potatoes are well coated.
Transfer potatoes to a sheet pan and spread into an even layer.
Roast on the top rack of the oven for 45 minutes or until browned and crisp. Flip every 15 minutes to ensure even roasting.
Remove the potatoes from the oven, sprinkle some flaky salt or Parmesan cheese, and serve hot.
